Description CageSkinz Backplates are here! The backplate of a goalie mask is an often overlooked piece of gear. Most mask harnesses cover the backplate as well so there’s typically not much room for graphics. Using our open back mask harness will open up the space to allow you to customize it with a small logo or message. We offer any size of logo or message up to a maximum of 3.5″ in any direction and it comes pre-cut so all you have to do is peel and stick. We use the same ultra high quality and durable CageSkinz mask used on all our mask vinyl products so you know it will look great and last a very long time. Due to the curvature of backplate, installation can be difficult with full wraps or larger graphics. However, we keep the graphics smaller so it’s much easier to apply without any hassle. All goal masks and helmets are certified by the CSA and HECC in North America. Both governing bodies rules state that stickers that are not approved by the goal mask or helmet manufacturer are NOT to be applied to a polycarbonate goal mask or helmet. There is a risk of the plastic and adhesives interacting poorly to weaken the goal mask / helmet shell, according to those governing bodies. Applying CageSkinz or any other unapproved sticker to the polycarbonate goal mask or helmet will void the manufacturer’s warranty and nullify the CSA or HECC certification. We ask that you DO NOT purchase CageSkinz unless you have confirmed 100% that you do not have a polycarbonate goal mask or helmet.
